Our story
Meet Coynard & Mickell
We're two wildly different humans who somehow found each other — and decided life was too short to live by somebody else's rules. Entrepreneur + athlete. Strategist + artist. Woman + man. White + Black. Structure + spontaneity. Strength + softness.
We create businesses. We make art. We train. We cook. We dance. We argue. We travel. We raise kids. We question things. We change our minds. We start over. And somewhere along the way, we realized the thing we were most interested in creating wasn't another company. It was a life.
Savage Rose Garden is where we document that experiment — and invite other people to begin their own. Not to live like us. Not to follow another blueprint. But to question the one they were handed. To create more. Feel more. Risk more. Love deeper. Become curious again.
And maybe turn their own life into something worth calling art.

Mickell Rose
Mickell Rose is an entrepreneur, creator, mentor, author, mother, and a woman who has spent most of her life refusing to stay inside the lines. She started her first business in her twenties and has spent more than a decade building companies, ideas, communities, and humans.
For 12 years she built a career as a business mentor — creating multiple businesses of her own, generating six figures, writing two books, leading rooms, and helping entrepreneurs build businesses and lives that gave them more freedom. But the most defining parts of her story aren't the accomplishments. They're the times she was willing to blow it all up.
She's left relationships that looked right but didn't feel right. Left places she had outgrown. Questioned beliefs she'd inherited. Reinvented her work. Followed love. Became a mother and stepmother. Started over more than once. And eventually, she walked away from the career she'd spent 12 years building — with absolutely no plan for what came next.
Because Mickell has always been fascinated by one question: what happens when we stop living the life we're supposed to live and start discovering the one that's actually ours? Today her work lives somewhere between business, creativity, motherhood, relationships, adventure, spirituality, and the beautifully messy experience of being human.
She still builds businesses. She still mentors people. But she's far less interested in teaching someone how to become successful — and much more interested in helping them become alive. To question more. Create more. Trust themselves. Take the risk. Make the art. Leave when it's time to leave. Begin again when it's time to begin again.
Because Mickell believes we are all artists — and the greatest thing we'll ever create may be the life we're brave enough to call our own.
Co-founder
Coynard Delancy
Coynard Delancy is an athlete, artist, father, veteran, creator, and living experiment in what humans are capable of when they stop accepting ordinary as the standard. His life has never fit neatly into one category.
He's an elite endurance athlete who pushes his body into places most people would never willingly go. A musician and writer who creates because expression matters more than applause. A veteran. A filmmaker. A deep thinker with an ability to make you laugh one minute and question everything you believe the next. And he's a father who takes the responsibility of raising humans seriously — while never forgetting to play, challenge, listen, and let them become fully themselves.
His approach to fitness goes far beyond reps, miles, or aesthetics. For Coynard, the body is a training ground — a place to discover discipline, resilience, confidence, creativity, presence, and the edges of who you think you are.
But his curiosity doesn't stop with the body. He's fascinated by people. Relationships. Culture. Race. Masculinity. Creativity. Parenting. The expectations we inherit and the invisible rules we follow without ever asking why. Whether he's running an impossible distance, training unconventionally, making music, behind a camera, raising his kids, or sitting in a conversation most people would rather avoid, he carries the same philosophy: find out for yourself.
Question the standard. Test your limits. Create without needing permission. Be willing to look ridiculous. Stay curious enough to change your mind. And don't perform a life that looks good to everyone else.
Find out what you're capable of — and live it.
